Here's the CRAZY thing. This is Brian and My memory verse. I didn't teach it to her. She heard us saying it to each other, or I would say to her 'I want to do my memory verse for you' .... and I would say it. BOOM she learned it through SPIRITUAL OSMOSIS. Even Evelyn knows some of it and she's 22 months old! But the way I found out that Carlisle knew it was yesterday, through our awesome babysitter. Our labrador, Beau Beau, got an insect bite over the weekend while I was in Charlotte for my girl-fest weekend with my fun-and-about-ready-to-pop/great-with-child-sister and my precious and also Amazing friend Kristi...and I didn't take a picture. Not one. Hum?

When I returned, we both thought that the bite looked serious enough for me to take him to the vet. So Monday morning, the girls and I took him. They cleaned the wound and gave him a steriod shot. When we were done at the vet, I dropped him off at home and the girls and I went to the grocery store.
When I got back about an hour later, he could barely walk. The vet came to my house she was so concerned. They helped me put him in the car. He's a big dude. He is a hefty 115 lbs...down from 135lbs. And they kept him overnight to observe him. Overnight he lost more mobility and by Tuesday morning, couldn't walk. So Brian and I took him to the vet specialist in Columbia and the girls stayed with the babysitter.

The babysitter was in Brian's car. Typed out was Ephesians 6, so she started reading it outloud when Carlisle jumped in to say it with her. I had NO IDEA that she knew it. It makes me so excited. I have to say scripture 100,000 times outloud to get it right. She's a little scripture sponge. Listen to this...

Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and when you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all of the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. ~Ephesians 6:13-17
