Saturday morning!

Here's how it works!

  • Email me and tell me what you song choices you want!
  • If you don't know the name of the song, but remember the moves, show me Saturday morning!
  • Email me a video of you doing the moves (just kidding! But if you do, free CD to you!)
    Like our music?????
We will have CDs to give away for the excited, the loud, and the sweaty-est participants!
I'm also teaching Friday morning 9:30 - 10:30am!

CHANGE TO THE PLAN - AEROBICS UPDATE

So many complaints with the set number of participants allowed in class that management rethought the whole thing. It was suggested going back to having class on the basketball court (through the end of January, if not longer).
After a meeting today, they went for it.
So we will have class Tuesday nights on the basketball court again until the numbers even out and we can get back into the studio.
I am SO relieved. Hope you are too. Let me know what you think.

Jennie's Quick Fitness Fix

January is HERE! And, I have some ideas that may kickstart your NEW YEAR! (this list is not for the faint) Too hard? Pick one or two and focus on those for a new you!

1. Get REST. Being tired will deprive your body the energy it needs to hit the gym and burn calories.

2. Get STRICT. with yourself Regarding sugar, refined starches, excess fats and munching. Cut out most sweets, bread and cereal.

3. Get MOVING. That morning or afternoon cardio is going to play a major part in shedding those extra pounds that may have crept on in the last year(s).

4. Get VEGGIES. Get a plate full of green leafy veggies and fill up on them with your protein. Try pairing a salad of spinach with protein-rich foods like eggs or fish.

5. Get Rid. Cast away foods high in preservatives. Avoid anything that can sit in your kitchen cabinet for more than 8 days.

6. Get Real. Don't expect to lose a ton of weight in a short amount of time. It's about what is physically possible.


If you are really serious about staying in shape and getting fit, commit yourself to a regular workout schedule and re-evaluate your eating habits for optimal results.

Tuesday: 5:30 - 6:15pm Zumba
Tuesday: 6:15 - 6:25pm Ab Blast

Wednesday: 8:30 - 9:30am Fit 4 Life
Wednesday: 9:30 - 10:30am Zumba

Friday: 9:30 - 10:30am Strikezone* (on rotation)

Strikezone - Kicks, punches, jacks, pushups, all things sweaty fabulous!
Zumba - Dancing, laughing, moving, pulsating, tons of people - FUN!
Fit 4 Life - For the crowd who wants a less intense workout but likes good music.

The only thing better than spending sweet time with family on Thanksgiving . . .
was working out with Eric and Brian on Saturday.
But, we didn't just work out.

They came to my Kickboxing class.
And it was a good ol' fashioned hiney kickin'.
Bri has been walking a little funny today, I think his legs are sore.
Eric, how you feelin'? : )
