Sisters

The Monday night Perspectives class is still amazing, awe-inspiring, and speaking to my heart.
I wish it weren't so late. I have pages of notes from tonights class...but it will have to wait. Can't wait to share.
It's after midnight. I need to get a few hours of sleep. Those little girls went down before 6:00pm, so for-sure, they will be up bright and early.

Around our house, we have what we call 'pony tail day'. Or 'headband day'. Well, on this particular day, it was 'braid day'.

More to come...

Sisters

The pic above is the FIRST meeting. Carlisle and her baby sister.
(Vivian is wearing the outfit that Mom brought me
home from the hospital in.
AND, the outfit that I have brought
each of my own three girls home in.)
How do they feel about their new, little, tiny sister?
They love her.
They want to rub her.
They want to hold her.
They are enjoying her SO much.
They run in from some crazy excursion with Brian and say, 'Mommy, where's Vivian?'
And they run to her to kiss her, or see what she's wearing, or stare at her.
Asleep.
She is SUCH a sleeper.
She slept through the whole next bunch of pictures.
I prayed for a sleepy baby.
God honored that prayer.
Evelyn, the LOVER.

Two girls. The Lord knew exactly what he was doing giving me two little girls.
I am an identical twin.
These two little sweet ones are learning to share (daily).
Learning to love.
And learning to have fun....

TOGETHER.
For so long, Evie was so tiny that Carlisle couldn't enjoy really playing with her.
All that has totally changed in the last month or 2.
Evelyn admires Carlisle and enjoys doing what she's doing...
BUT, she is a cool chick, independent of her sister. She has her own interests, her own personality and her own desires.

I LIKE THAT.

Today is Evie's first birthday party! The weather is soooooo much cooler, it's literally screaming for us to have the party outside.

Ok, we will.
